Mom " I am going to be you."

"Mom, take a picture of me: I am going to be you. "As her sweet little voice takes on the no-nonsense approach, she puts my readers on and repeats " I am going to be like you." The morning starts off with a fresh brew of coffee with a touch of honey. As the sun rises just high enough to peer in the upstairs window, I hear this yelling...."MOOOoooomie COme HERE." I absorb the last sip of hot coffee as it will be the last for a while and head to the upper level of our house. I run with the arms wide open and great big smile. "Good Morning my precious LuLu!"

Greeted back with a Giant smile, she grasped my hand and said, "lay down and hold my head." Of Course, I will snuggle you, LULU! I have learnt to embrace those invites
they are rare. Besides, I may just get to lay down 30 more minutes. If I am lucky, we may both go back to sleep.

No more than my head got wrapped just right in the pillow and her head supported like she likes it, my eyes were drifting, at that moment a strong loud voice said, "MOMMIE; we forgot to water the plants last night, Roxie (Winnie dog) has to go outside. I need to hold and kiss Roxie; I am hungry."

A list of twenty we need to do, forgot to do and will do roll off like "bullets from an Ak". My eyes shot wide open. My day has officially begun.

"LULU"... how about I fix you breakfast like you do me! "That will be great," she replies, and "I want it to be in bed, your bed just like me and bubba did for you." Leaning her head down towards me fluttering her eyes with a big smile. I had to think a bit... I generally don't let her eat in my bed........"well okay." I will fix you breakfast and be back. I headed down stairs and took the opportunity to have another cup of coffee, start the bacon, and I hear, "MMMOOOOMMMMMIE." I rush upstairs. Lulu shouts, "I can't get the iPad to work", and can you lift the head of the bed for me. Okay, the i-pad works and the bed is lifted and pillows are fluffed. I head back down stairs and into the kitchen to complete her breakfast. My coffee is cold- at this moment, I heated the coffee; I hear this familiar sound again, "MOOOmmmie." I go back up the stairs and as I am just about to remind her I have to cook downstairs, She says, "I love you more." Awh... so sweet.... I hug her, kiss her and tell her I love her more! I dash back down the stairs to the kitchen to catch the bread before it burns! Finally, as I get it all done just in a nick of time, when I hear the familiar voice  yelling from the top of the floor, "MMMOOOOOOMIE." It's my Princess Lulu calling me again. I head back up stairs this time with her breakfast,  re-adjusted her bed and serve my Lulu. She looks at me to say, "I am going to be you." I chuckle and say,
"Great! I have a list of things Lulu wants you to do today." I started listing all the forgot to do and will dos. She quickly interrupted to say,  I am just pretending right now.

Now if you will remember the 10 things to know if you have a Lulu. Several you will find just in a morning's serving. I do believe you will find where patience it not a Lulu's strong point! :)
